Saw an interesting movie recently, "Why We Fight." You're probably aware of it even if you haven't seen it already. It uses Eisenhower's 1960 farewell address (which I think coined the term military-industrial complex) as a thematic anchor. It also features Chalmers Johnson discussing "blowback," starting with the 1954 coup in Iran. I don't think the movie says anything you don't already know, but it effectively dramatizes many things you do.Also, Niel Young has a new cd, "Living with War," that's been getting rave reviews. I like what I've heard from it on the radio. He's also released a concert film with (I think) the same title, and those who've seen it say it's great.
