Hey, how long has your myspace page been up? I know it's free, and you've got a nice layout, but you do know myspace is now owned by Rupert Murdoch's News Corp., right? Same company that owns "Faux" News.I'm not telling you what do to, seems like every indie band has a myspace page these days, just wanted you to be aware.

BTW, don't know if any of you saw the Democratic debate last night. I probably wouldn't have watched it except it was held in South Carolina. But if you did, then you heard Kucinich mention his bill to de-fund the Iraq debacle, H.R.1234. I don't know if the number is purely accidental (if it's the 1,234th bill introduced this Congress) or if he had some choice in the matter -- like ending the war is as easy as 1-2-3-4 -- but I thought maybe you could work it into your song of the same name, or maybe even re-work the whole song around it.

If you did decide to go with a label, would Dischord or Alternative Tentacles be possibilities? As far as I know, indie labels are the only ones still releasing any vinyl, except for maybe some niche classical and jazz.

wow! on-line, that is hard to believe. As a band we're not quite clear about the issue of DIY vs label. The inspiration of groups like Fugazi and some of the excellent observations in some of the interviews in the book "We don't owe you anything...." are impossible to ignore. But so is the pain in the assedness of DIY...Senyor continues to insist on even putting out vinyl!! I've even found myself agreeing with him.

Jello's speaking here Monday, May 7 @ Ground Zero (www.groundzerorocks.com). The next day he'll be in Charleston (Cumberland's, brought to you by Johnny Puke). May 19 he'll be at University of Washington. I was thinking if you want, I could give him my copies of the Blowback cd's and Brett could try to follow up, see if he liked them. Last time I talked to John he said something about going with a label for your next cd rather than releasing it yourselves.(BTW, if you want to email me directly, those who know me can do so at my middlenamelastname@yahoo.com -- It's not encrypted or anything, so be careful.)

Hey, Jello Biafra will speak at the local rock club here next month, and I was just wondering if there's anything you guys want me to ask him.
