OK, cool, I'd like to get a copy at some point. While we're on the subject, do you know if any of the Radio Blowback shows are stored on CD or archived in some way? From the playlists it looks like some great music, but I've been unable to listen without a cable connection.

Hey guys, did anyone tape or download the performance from c-span? Have you seen that Philips is selling a machine that makes it easy to transfer video from VHS to DVD (available at Tweeter, Circuit City, etc.) Any chance of making a DVD of the c-span perfomance in time for holiday gift-giving? :-)

So as we read news reports about the funeral in Pakistan for Kasi, who was just executed in Virginia for murdering two CIA workers and injuring a few others, i wonder who will be willing to tell the families of Americans that may well fall to assassin's vengeful attacks, that killing Kasi was so important that we were willing to sacrifice more Americans? And I ask again, how is it patriotic to willingly sacrifice fellow citizens? Don't forget that Kasi could have never had the possibility of parole, had the State of Virginia chosen to commute his sentence and ensure that.

Some like P.J. O'Rourke and others (yourself?) can't get over the fact that when people protest they a) have a lot of fun doing it and b) have a lot of concerns they want to voice. That's the point of democracy: expressing one's views. I reserve the right to say whatever i want - even deliberately absurd - at a protest. The other assumption, the "useful idiot" assumption, is that marchers somehow serve the agenda of those who called the march. I don't think that works either. Non-marchers can't seem to get over the fact that we don't blindly follow all that is said and all that is asked at these marches. Just doesn't work that way. Go to the next march, walk inside the march, talk to people, and see for yourself. You'll find a ton of people who are having a good time exercising their constitutional right and duty to dissent from misguided government power.
